The Lincombe Hall Hotel offers superb accommodation throughout. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and have quality furnishings. The elegant dining room serves a excellent choice of menu for dinner with a buffet style breakfast in the morning. The quality of the food was wonderful and served by a great team of staff who are polite and attentive. The hotel is set in extensive grounds and has an outdoor pool also a smaller indoor pool.Entertainment is provided in the comfortable lounge in the evenings there is also a cinema room showing a different film each night. The check in was fast and efficient by a great reception team.Ample car parking is available in the hotel grounds.
The hotel has a great country house feel to it and caters for adults only.
One of the best hotels in Torquay.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had travelled to Devon, initially, for a business meeting and decided to make it into a mini break. We booked a basic double room. It was quite small, but very comfortable. The decor was pleasing. We had our evening meal at the hotel twice during our stay. The food couldn't be faltered and we felt, good vale for money. It was lovely to be able to have a swim and use the jacuzzi prior to getting ready for dinner. The weather was a bit chilly, unfortunately, so didn't use the outdoor pool. The grounds surrounding the pool had plenty of sunloungers, so I'm sure in summer, would be very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Travelling by train from West Sussex to Torquay via Reading and Newton Abbott. Part of a 3 night stay in Lincombe Hall. ( This was a package Railtrail break) Hotel was comfortable and suited my brother and I, The staff were friendly and a singer provided evening entertainment. Our main focus was on 2 days of travelling on steam trains and the paddle steamer from Dartmouth. Transport was very good as my brother had mobility problems. We both enjoyed the garden of an evening as the weather was like an Indian summer,

Room Tip: One room on the gound floor (for my brother) and one on 1st floor suited our needs

We stayed for a long weekend at the Lincombe Hall, it was a very welcoming and a lovely stay. The check in was easy and then a brief tour of the hotel. We had booked bed and breakfast, but we ate every night at the hotel, as the food was really lovely, presented delightfully with a different menu each night, so plenty of choice. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, with lovely, immaculate gardens with plenty of parking. The staff are so friendly, helpful and really make you feel welcome. We loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi, and used everyday throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated with a very nice size bathroom and a comfy bed. It has really nice seating areas and bar, there was entertainment over 2 nights, which was lovely. We will definitely return in the future, the hotel and staff are lovely.

Just had 4 nights here. Lovely hotel. Only problem it was at the top of a hill so not good for walking. Not good for infirm people, lots of steps.

Had first meal in hotel. Very good and really good price if you were having B&B.
