Just returned from a weekend break in Torquay, stayed at the robin hill ,we were able to take our 2 small dogs ,the owner was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble.we had a lovely room that was spotlessly clean ,with a very large double bed .
The breakfast was very well presented and of first class portions ,car parking is can be difficult as its on a tight turn in and on a incline as stated in outher reviews.

Things we liked:
Nice small hotel, really good breakfast, great choice and variation. Comfortable guest lounge and handy Wi Fi. The owners were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was small but lovely. Good location, short walk to the harbour.
Things we didn't like:
Our room had a king size bed, but the room was far too small for it. A single would have been more sensible. The wardrobe was very small, if you'd stayed for a week, you would not have managed to fit all your clothes in. There was only one chair so we used the guest lounge to sit in.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are clean and well equipped. I have walking difficulties and when they saw me arriving with a stick they immediately offered me a ground floor room to avoid climbing too many stairs. Breakfast fantastic and the best poached eggs i've ever had, told it was because they are true free range direct from the farm. Asked where to eat of an evening and told try The Hole In The Wall, a very old pub at the bottom of the hill. Went twice it was that good, and reasonably priced. Owners and staff are really friendly and do all they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Will be my first choice if I visit Torquay again.
