Lovely food, great service. Nice location on the harbourside. Big portions too. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Plymouth.

We had breakfast in this place as a kick off of our Easter holidays and it was a great choice! Although we didn’t have a reservation, they managed to get us a great table with amazing views!
Service was very quick and nice, and food simply delicious! We had a full English and a veggie breakfast, with coffees and smoothies for not even £30!

I would definitely recommend this place! It also has free parking!

Third time that we have tried to use the this place for coffee and cake mid morning but won't be returning.
We have had meals in the past and all been good.
Went in mid morning Friday 23 March and even though they had 4/5 tables empty with no reserved signs on them we were told that Unless we were there for a meal we could not sit at a table.
We were directed to a sofa that had 2 vacant seats which considering that there were four of us was a waste of time
Obviously not welcome if you don't want a meal.
Found the member of staff quite abrupt .
Moved on to Secco where there is always a warm welcome

Dear Terry R,

I'm sorry that you feel like you were not welcome at The Dock. I would like to use this opportunity to reassure you that it's never the case. Whenever possible we do try to accommodate all our customers. Unfortunately on the day of your visit we have been completely fully booked (as explained to you) upon your arrival and our comfy sofa area was the only option. Although 4 tables appeared to be free at the moment when you entered the restaurant they have all been booked and arrived shortly after you. We do not use table signs as we provide table service and we do show all our customers to their tables.
I hope that you will have another opportunity to try our delightful coffees and cakes as they truly are to die for!

Best regards
Greg
