Came for a meal with Hubby as we have been a few times and loved it, but went Easter Sunday and the place was absolutely heaving, and you could see from the beginning that there was not enough staff, for the amount of people in there. The food we eventually got was amazing, which is the main reason we would still go back again. if this had been the only time we had been, the terrible service might have put us off returning if not for the great food. Mussels and Asian duck salad starters were superb ( only had these as the starter for 2 which we usually like was a no go as they had sold out of the pate and chorizo), took a while to get with being busy, so we had eaten all but 1 piece of bread by the time they arrived. We asked for more as it is supposed to be unlimited bread, but told it was in the oven, then never came back with any so annoying as the mussels would have been great with bread as they came with a creamy sauce. Moroccan lamb and chicken with asparagus were also delish, but it took 40 minutes after our starters to get it, then our parking had run out and we did not want to put another 2 hours on, so left without dessert. Staff were clearly run off there feet, so not much eye contact or conversation, so saved by how good the food was, but a bit disappointing.
