I came across this Memorial as part of my day out in Plymouth. I had no idea it existed and was completely overwhelmed by it. It is a worthy Memorial to all who served and lost their lives. Of particular interest was the reference to the Australians who also died.
A great piece of history and architecture. Well worth a visit.

Thank Linda D

Does not take too long to visit, however, if the weather is nice, you can spend the whole day there! Have a barbecue!

Pleasant calming walk around in somber thought . All those persond killed in action . Ahistoric tour of memories of the past and a warning not to repeat anything like the wars in the future .

The whole of Plymouth Hoe is a constant reminder to everyone who walks there of what others gave to purchase our freedom.
