What a place...! If you're into your myths and legends then visiting this cave is an absolute must. It's mysterious and the sense of otherwordly air greets you. I could have stayed for hours meditating and just drawing in the atmosphere... definitely worth the visit

Interesting to see originaly a slate and copper mine and you can see right through to the other side.
It's not easy to get to so if you have bad legs not an easy task not so much getting down but getting up again.
You also have to watch the tide as it comes in very quickly and you could be trapped

We were so very lucky that the tide was out so we could explore inside the cave. The beach is good and the views are haunting. Worth a look to let your imagination run wild.

Unfortunately we didn't look at the tide tables before our visit and arrived at Tintagel at high tide - so we could not visit the cave but had to admire from nearby.

Stunning location. Got some great pics. Check the tide times at the ticket box before you go down. Uneven rocks to climb at the bottom of the steps but fun to clamber on.
