had everything you need, home from home, well positioned for the beach and shops. Would recommend this flat. I would go there again. Sea view out of livingroom and bedroom..

“Can't wait to go back!”

We just got back and had a wonderful time here, the flat was perfect for the three of us and thanks to the weather we spent all week on the beach, of which there are 4 to choose from in St Ives. St Ives itself is great, lots of restaurants, galleries and shops to fill your time with. The flat is perfectly located and you virtually have a beach as your back garden. It's not the biggest flat and I wouldn't stay with more than 2 adults and 2 children so it's ideal for a small family. It's very quite and you wake up to the sound of waves crashing in. Some people have commented on the bathroom and hallway but it's fine unless you place a lot of value on that. Only slightly negative point is the car park by the flat is always busy so you have to pick your moment to park there and the roads around there are pretty narrow to say the least, but once you are parked up and unpacked it's a super base from which to enjoy what St Ives has to offer. The sun sets are amazing and you can easily take a bottle of wine and bbq to the beach to enjoy.

“Amazing perfect holiday!!!:)”
Reviewed 12 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

We were blessed with amazing weather so that was a big factor. However waking up to the sound of the waves is amazing rain or shine! the view from the double bedroom is fantastic and you can also listen to them whilst lying in the bath! This flat was perfect for us, two adults and one 3 year old. We did not want to leave, only 30 seconds from a beautiful beach and 2 mins from the harbour....book it!!!!
Only down side is the parking and driving to the property is hard because you have to drive through the harbour which is packed with people...but it is worth it .

“Well appointed flat”
Reviewed 2 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

I would recommend this accommodation. Situated within 30 seconds of the beach, although you are not overlooking the seafront you are adjacent to the properties who are. This does reflects the price which is lower than sea view property. You can see a bit of the sea and beach from the main bedroom window and if you open the window you can go to sleep with the crashing of the waves in the distance (pending seagull noise).
The accommodation is light and airy, due to the set up of the flat which, has windows both side of the lounge, including two velux in the roof. The lounge/dining area is spacious enough and is furnished nicely.
The bathroom has a good deep bath and the shower works well although the avocado bathroom suite is quite old, it is functional and clean.
The kitchen has adequate cooking facilities and utensils.
Both bedrooms are well presented and clean.
Booking through trip advisor could not have been simpler. A quick e mail started things off, then the deposit sent. Contracts come through the post to sign and all the information on getting access into the flat etc are sent a few weeks before the holiday.
The only drawbacks for me was the old bathroom. The communal hallway needs redecorating as it is very tired. The tv is an old one and a bit small.
All in all though, a pleasant 8 nights stay in a nice flat, well appointed by the seaside.
Pros -
30 seconds from the beach
Clean and with nice furnishings and artwork of the area
Gas central heating and gas oven and hob
One level. (Really good if you have small children)
Bright and airy (a lot of cottages in st Ives are really dingy)
Free wifi/free sat tv
Really easy to book
Cons -
Very old bathroom
Smallish old tv (not flat screen)
communal hallway needs a re paint and new carpets
