“Enjoyable”
Reviewed 29 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Andrew and Colette have thought of everything to make our stay a very enjoyable stay. Even the early visit off the bird in the bathroom was a joy. The local pub The Red lion was very nice reasonable priced. Ideally based to vist cornwall.

“As good as Relais et Chateaux”
Reviewed 27 September 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Ditto to all the reviews below. If Pippins were replicated and had a restaurant, this would be a Relais et Chateaux property.

The Trip Advisor photos don’t capture the beauty and charm of Pippins Annex. The 2-3 feet thick walls, the effort made to keep the original elements where possible then augment them with stylish and top-quality updates. When I saw the first floor—spotless, beautifully furnished kitchen, sun room, patio, the views—I thought I didn’t even need to see the upstairs. Then we walked up and the bathroom took my breath away. The bedroom, as huge as the bathroom and the lovely furniture, draperies, generous closets, capped with the view of our hosts’ garden. Andrew and Colette’s hospitality matched the magnificent quality of the accommodations. As others have noted, they were warm and generous but not intrusive. They helped us with directions and restaurant, shopping, and sightseeing recommendations, and Andrew made my whole trip with directions to Roscarrock Farm, the site for Nampara in the 1970s Poldark. I hope we’re lucky enough to stay there again someday.

“Luxurious stay in a perfect location”
Reviewed 9 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful and luxurious break at Pippins. The accommodation is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space including a gorgeous sun room, well equipped kitchen, huge bedroom and stylish bathroom. The place is full of character and has been tastefully decorated to combine traditional materials and modern luxuries. We were made extremely welcome on arrival and spoilt with treats such as traditional cream teas and high end bathroom goodies.
This is a great spot for exploring the local area with small villages, farm shops and country walks in every direction. Highly recommended.

“Stylishly furnished and well equipped Annex for self caterers”
Reviewed 31 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This little gem meets all the requirements that any of its visitors could ever wish for.
It is without question stylishly and lovingly furnished by its keeper. Well equipped and clean, having been given much attention to providing its guests with all the usual 'taken for granted' home comforts and more. This find did not disappoint one bit. It stands within beautifully established grounds and is well situated for any visiting of further places of interest. So comfortable and private too. Simply great for that get away from it all for a while break.
