The location was great - above the village so good access and parking but only a short 10 min walk down the hill into the cove. The kitchen, dining and living room were great and it had a fantastic lush green view across to the other side of the harbour (and Doc Martin's Surgery). Great sunsets too. The only negative was a rather poor mattress (thin) on a wood slat bed frame on the downstairs king bed bedroom. Not comfortable and could have been better. Otherwise no complaints. Really good rental.
I stayed with a group of 8 ladies for a weekend get together, Bay View was a perfect house for us, with plenty of bedrooms and a large, airy and comfortable lounge/diner/kitchen space. The decking outside was perfect if the weather was nice and plenty of private parking was a bonus. We had typical Cornish winter weather, rain, winds and storms but the house was lovely and warm and cosy. The location was perfect, opposite the co op for supplies and a 5 minute walk down to Port Gaverne or down into Port Issac. Bay View exceeded our expectations and a welcome park was an unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay here again if we want another Port Issac break.

The property is wonderfully spacious, even when full. Enjoyed by the whole family from youngster to grandparents. As for the views...you'll have to go to fully appreciate those.
We jut got back from a weeks stay and Bay View is fantastic
We arrived to flowers and a good bottle of Rose left for us!
Panoramic views from the private veranda are breath taking, the photo's don't capture just how high up you are or the just how much space is around you.
Port Isaac's main Co-op is 2 min's walk over the road
5 min's walk down hill to Port Isaac's bars and restaurants
Dog friendly with own parking
House has excellent Wi-fi and big flat screen TV which has a USB port in the back which you can plugin Chromecast or similar to watch Netflix, Now TV etc on the big screen.
The house & kitchen are wonderfully well stocked with all kinds of cleaning products, utensils, there are x 2 baths and a walk in shower!
Perfect base to explore the North with Tintagel, Boscastle nearby and even the South with the A30 and Minack Theatre and Lands end all accessible by car. Can't wait to return!
We booked through Cornish Seaview Cottages who were incredibly friendly, helpful and who I would also definitely recommend!
A comfortable home with good sized rooms and lovely views from the back. It was a good base for exploring north Cornwall. Port Isaac village centre was just a few steps away with good restaurants. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Just a few quibbles - the description said there was a games room downstairs - this was a bit of an exaggeration as the games room was just a table football table in a very small room downstairs which had the washing machine & dryer in it. It wasn't furnished or decorated in any other way - just like a small shed. It didn't have a pool table in it, as described and there certainly wasn't room for one in there. Having said that, the table football was extensively used! Also, when we arrived at the property it smelled very musty which was off-putting. I had to get some scented candles to try and dissipate the musty smell and it did go as the week went on, but not entirely.
