I have read the two previous reviews and it is hard to improve upon them. This is our fourth visit and that says how excellent this accommodation is. We keep coming back. Its amenities are fully and accurately described and affords us the spacious and comfortable accommodation we need as a family. Three double bedrooms, bathroom plus en-suite and superb large kitchen/diner with large bi-fold window/doors on two sides onto the lovely rectangular garden with BBQ patio. We, and others it would appear, return year after year. That says it all. Plus, Helen is a lovely lady and couldn't be more helpful and pleasant to deal with.
We have stayed at this house many times. Helen is very easy to deal with and a perfectionist, and that shows in the standard of the accommodation. It is immaculate, thanks to the combined efforts of Helen and her wonderful housekeeper.
We love the light and airy kitchen/ diner especially and have enjoyed many family times there. I enjoy cooking and the kitchen is well equipped. There's a Co-op nearby for essentials and a fantastic fishmonger 10 minutes walk away in the village. And, when we're tired of cooking, there are two Nathan Outlaw restaurants within staggering distance - one reasonably affordable, and one a serious treat.
The house is well located. It has parking (which is at a premium in Port Isaac) and we walk from there down into the harbour, or into the adjacent village of Port Gaverne. Both walks take perhaps 10 minutes, although we usually get distracted on the way - last time, it was watching porpoises at Port Gaverne.
I thoroughly recommend this house, Enjoy!
This was our 5 th time to this wonderful holiday home and we will be back!!!
As soon as we arrive we relax, absolutely everything is here that you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The house itself is roomy and easily fits 6 people in, the beds are so comfy and smell lovely thanks to the excellent housekeeper.
The kitchen diner is well equipped and if the weather is good, which it usually is, we open up the bifold doors and enjoy the wonderful garden.
The owner provides maps and info on local places and there's a library of books to read!
It's the little touches we love too, on arrival there's a basket with tea, coffee and fudge and fresh soap and kitchen essentials.
The house comes with lots of parking too and in Port Isaac that's a bonus. The village is a short stroll away so the location is perfect!
This place is our favourite place to relax and u wind
