“Hard work but worth it”

I’m quite a seasoned walker but this path pushed me to my limits! The walk from Polperro to Looe is fabulous even if a bit steep at times as the views are spectacular. The walk from Polperro to Polruan is a totally diffferent matter with hundreds of steep steps and narrow paths but if you can keep breathing the views again are breathtaking. This walk particularly is very strenuous and not for the faint hearted but if you’re reasonably fit and able then go and do it as you’ll enjoy wonderful views even if your legs will feel like they’re dropping off afterwards! Take plenty of water and snacks and tell someone you’re doing it if you’re going solo like me as a safety precaution. Well worth it though.

The SW Coastal path between Polperro and Polruan is truly spectacular! The walk is pretty strenuous but there is a bus to take you back and pubs and shops to feed yourself when you get there!

A great part of South West Coast path.

I started at Polperro and walked to Polruan and got ferry to Fowey. Had nice tea and piece of cake at Fowey and got boat trip back to Polruan.

Great to see Coast from two perspectives and getting back was a lot less effort.

Most enjoyable hike, not a stroll, views are amazing. Wewere fortunatly to have good weather so enjoyed it. Strong shoes or walking boots are advised and a bottle of water is needed ifthe weather is hot.Good view of Polperro on the the downward side of the walk with a good meal and better beer awaits, and a bus ride back. Perfect day

Got the bus from Polperro to Polruan, lovely friendly bus, the driver even had his dog on board. Great costal path walk which had a lot of ups and downs and stunning scenery. Would recommend proper walking boots/shoes and if the weather has been wet, a walking stick will help in places for balance as it can be slippery where it's muddy.
