Recently stayed in cottage no1 and we must say it was just perfect, the cottage was just right for 2 people there was nothing more you could ask for only a wifi signal but Victoria informed us that wifi was to be installed while we were there so that will be sorted.
We were there in March so it was cold in the evenings but it didn't take long to warm the cottage up,just take a few pound coins with you for the meter.
The location is perfect it is at the top of the village opposite the Crumplehorn inn which serves good food and only a ten minute walk down to the harbour and more pubs and small quaint shops.
The bus stop is directly outside the property but don't worry the drivers turn their engines off while waiting so it doesn't disturb the peace.
It is the 1st time we have stopped in a cottage and are already sorting some dates out so we can re visit Crumplehorn cottages in 2016 as it really is the perfect location for the East side of Cornwall.
The facilities in the cottage are excellent plenty of everything,ie cutlery, pots, pans, hairdryer TV,CD player everything and it is well worth paying the £5 for your bed making up.Even fresh flowers and shortbread are there for you on arrival.
Victoria as forgotten nothing and even pays you a visit on your day of arrival to make sure everything is ok and answer any questions.
Overall a brilliant location and spotlessly clean accommodation.

Booked this last minute for a short break and were so glad we chose it. Crumplehorn cottage no1 is just perfect for a couple. Tiny and cute but so incredibly well equipped and absolutely spotless! Vicky has thought of everything. The cottages are at the start of the village, just a 10 min walk down to the harbour through enchanting little streets. Just be aware that this is truly 'away from it all' as it is difficult to get mobile/wifi signals.
The friendly pub across the way serves good food and if there is music on it stops promptly at 10 so a good nights sleep undisturbed( we accidentally stayed during Polperro music festival, which was a lovely bonus, different live bands in various locations throughout the village).
There are also other larger Crumplehorn cottages which I'm sure will be just as good.
