I recently stayed in house 9 along with my partner and almost three year old, along with my sister in law, young niece (almost 2) and Mum and Dad.
The house was plenty big enough for our needs, with the description meeting what we found, indeed to the rear where the stairs are there is a hallway that accommodated a couple of bikes and a pushchair.
The house has been finished to a reasonably high standard, although when we arrived we were slightly worried about the Matt white walls with the young ones in tow.
All other furnishings are to a good standard though, with provision in the kitchen for everything.
Three bedrooms have en suites and the bunk room whilst for children did sleep one of us one night with a troublesome child who didn't want to sleep on his own!
The weather was lovely for us with temperatures in the mid twenties allowing us to use the plunge pool outside on the first night.
We also had arranged for a delivery on the same night along with a few other residents. We didn't make use of the BBQ although others were that night. I believe Sainsburys and tesco deliver to the site when shopping online. A Co-op can be found in Looe along with a Spar for every day essentials.
We also utilised the lovely pool whilst there and a couple of us used the sauna as well.
The staff were gets during our stay and were very helpful in providing information.
The only downside and being British it's going to happen was the heat at night (from the weather, not the heating), we had the windows open to try and combat this, but it was around 24 in the rooms which was slightly warm for a few of us and ceiling fans may have helped cool the bedrooms a bit. When cooking its best to open the doors, although if you have young ones you will have to keep an eye on them because of the plunge pool being about ten metres away out of the front double doors. Also whilst it didn't bother me, you will hear the plunge pool water running at night, which to me was relaxing but may not be to others.
With regard to parking, there isn't designated parking next to the house as such as it was first come first served for when you arrive back each day, so if you come back from the beach after a long day, with the parking spaces by the house (and swimming pool/reception) full you may have a little walk (100m) to carry things back to the house.
The internet connection is not the fastest either, although this may have been due to the number of wifi devices utilised (phones x5 and iPads x2). The smart TV was also missing the plug in USB device to allow connection to the network for those wanting to access Iplayer etc through the TV, although this is not what you go on holiday for, but may be needed in rainy weather or winter.
These things didn't detract from a lovely place and the staff but as a review thought it pertinent to mention so that you are aware if you stay.
We will definitely be coming back once we have sorted out booking our annual leave :-)
