We have been coming to Penzance for years and never knew this was here until I spotted it in a hardening magazine! A real hidden gem. We visited on a glorious hot sunny day and had a lovely time exploring and finding all the quirky sculptures and bits and pieces. Our 4 1/2 year old daughter loved it, especially seeing Elsa floating in a croc and finding the hidden fairy doors etc. Reasonable entry price - but remember to take cash! Will definitely visit again with a picnic.

We had the entire gardens to ourselves as we came during the week in term time. It was glorious sunshine & as we spotted the carvings & little houses in the trees as we descended from the car park we were already chuckling.
Be aware - you come on the turning from the main road very quickly - it is signposted right on the junction.
Entry fee is £5 pp in the honesty box (aka frog) - it's well worth it.
We spent about 2 hours wandering around & it could easily have been longer.
Lots of little surprises & a wonderful humour as well as peace & beauty.
The owners also currently have ducklings in an enclosure to protect then from the foxes - & it was there that we had the slightly surreal experience of watching a blue budgie riding up & down on the back of what I think was a white quail - who didn't seem to mind!
I have loads of pics but I'm not posting them - go & see for yourselves - it's really good fun.
Access wise - a downhill dirt path & all the hillocks & ponds mean it's not smooth - but it is worth the effort.

We had visited Tanglewood Wild Garden in Penzance a couple of years ago and thought we would give it another try.

We put our money in the honesty box in the green frog caravan again and it only cost us £5 each which we thought was good value for money.

After a walk through the woodland and garden we saw plenty of wildlife and the ponds had an abundance of frogs, ducks and geese making good use of them.

We ate before we came as you cannot buy any food or drinks here and there is only a compost toilet which fortunately we did not need to use!

This place is so worth a visit, it is very relaxing and good value for money. However, it is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with walking difficulties as the paths through the woods are steep and uneven.

We Visited for the first time today and we loved it! A secret garden full of fairies, frogs, fun sculptures & quirkiness. Keep your eyes peeled - you never know what's hidden in the bushes and hedgerows!! Take a picnic and enjoy the peace & tranquillity of this hidden gem. Absolutely worth a visit (or two!!).

The owners are very friendly, a very relaxed atmosphere. We live locally and will definitely be back.
