After a very long walk on The Lizard we decided we didn't fancy cooking when we got back to our holiday cottage near St Just so we looked for a fish and chip restaurant in Penzance. Well, Fraser's Fish & Chips didn't disappoint. As soon as we walked into the bright restaurant we were greeted by a friendly bubbly member of staff. We went for the local caught Hake and chips and it was superb, wonderfully cooked chips and a lovely crispy batter around the Hake. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and will certainly return when we are in this area again.

Wow what can I say! Visited here in July and as a veggie coeliac it can make sourcing chip shop chips and something additional a bit difficult. Not at Fraser's! Served by the lovely Katherine who was super knowledgeable about my coeliac needs, and food prepared by Dave who was amazing! Asked for battered halloumi and chips and OH MY GOD it was incredible (it should be on the menu for veggie coeliacs!) Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The GF batter was wonderful and the portion was huge! If we didn't live an 8 hours drive away we would be coming back regularly. Thanks so much for the absolute hands down best GF chip shop experience and food ever!

Have to say this place served up the best fish and chips i have had in nearly 40 years. Tasty fish freshly cooked with nice chips and massive onion rings. Friendly staff. Well priced. Tried harry ramsdens but they where poor in comparison. Would highly recomend.

Upon entering I was greeted by friendly staff and a clean establishment. As a celiac who was visiting Penzance I opted to eat in to maximize my ‘gluten free fish and chip’ experience, and this place did not disappoint!! I ordered the small cod and chips and Cornish GF ale; the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection, the batter was golden and crunchy, and the chips were obviously fresh and not that rubbish frozen kind!! In regards to service it was top notch, with my wait staff checking in on me regularly. If it’s the full ‘fish and chip experience’ your after (with a side of ice cream or sorbet) This is the place to go!!!

Ate in the restaurant and had a take away, good fish & chips at a fair price, service in the restaurant was a little slow and felt we were ignored over, perhaps more regular customers who came in after us and served before us.
