“FABULOUS, RELAXING STAY”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Seaglass was a wonderful place to stay, it had everything we needed. The view from the property was stunning. Although the weather wasn't brilliant we went for some lovely walks on the beach then returned to our cosy 'home' to light the log burner & relax. We did not want to leave!
The welcome gift of wine & biscuits was appreciated-thank you very much Clare.

We would definitely return & also recommend to our friends & family.

“Stylish and comfortable in a great location”

I really loved this house. It is designed so well, so that whilst it is compact and cosy, it manages to seem spacious and light. It is skillfully decorated with a seaside feel, all bleached floors and washed out colours. There is a small patio garden area which I am sure would be lovely in the summer. The kitchen is well equiped and the place was spotless on arrival.

You do overlook the pub but this was not obtrusive, and there is a smashing tapas bar unexpectedly found over the road. The surrounding area was quiet but in walking distance of Newquay, if you wanted. The nearby beaches and coastal walks are amazing and on your doorstep. Cornwall's other attractions are all within easy reach by car. I didn't want to leave.

“An incredible holiday at an amazing house.”

Returned from our holiday at Seaglass Porth yesterday and can't speak more highly of this accommodation both in terms of location and facilities. A beautiful beach house fully equipped with the warmest of welcomes. Cornwall was amazing and we are hooked. Will return next year for sure. We were lucky with the weather too. The owners at Seaglass really do make sure your stay is comfortable and are on hand if anything goes wrong. The wine milk and biscuits upon arrival a lovely touch. The design of the house gorgeous and the local pub non intrusive. Watergate Bay is the next beach and great for surfing. Best holiday I've had with my husband and little boy. Time to save up for the next one! Thank you Clare x

“Really good affordable beachside accommodation”

Being new on the market everything is brand new, tasteful and of good standard.
Local shop for essentials over the road and 3 supermarkets within a mile.
Huge sandy beach with rock pools, a river and of course waves for body boarding.
Direct view from the lounge is of a pub garden which is probably why the rent is affordable but it has not affected our enjoyment of our holiday and besides the master bedroom has panoramic sea views to compensate.

“Accommodation, location...perfect!”

Seaglass is clean, modern accommodation in a perfect location. It's definitely a hidden gem!

Prior to our stay the owner was very informative regarding access and directions. Upon our arrival it was very welcoming to find some wine and biscuits had been left for us, a lovely touch that was gratefully received! In addition, there was an information pack regarding Seaglass and various local facilities.

The accommodation itself has everything you could possibly need during your stay. We would certainly have packed less if we had realised just how much was already provided. As well as an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, there was washing up liquid, hand wash, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets, tea bags, sugar, beach towels, body boards, and a first-aid kit. It was just a home from home with all the mod-cons you could wish for. There was even free wifi !

The house itself is exactly as shown in the photo gallery. It has a beachy, modern feel and has a very high level of cleanliness too. It is generally open plan downstairs with a lounge/diner leading on to a patio area which has great views of Porth beach. Whenever we dined at the house it was lovely to sit out and take it all in. We were very lucky with the weather so had plenty of opportunity to do this. The bedrooms upstairs are very spacious, and the main, double bedroom also has amazing views over Porth beach. The bathroom is clean and modern, providing both bath and shower facilities.

The Property is situated just outside Newquay, a perfect location to visit Newquay's many beaches, and to explore other areas of North Cornwall. The Mermaid Inn is right next door, serving great food at a reasonable price. It was always busy but never noisy, even when we sat out on the patio area at Seaglass. There is also a tapas bar opposite the pub, and a small shop further along the road.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Seaglass and would love to stay there again sometime in the future. Thank you Clare for your kind gifts and for ensuring the accommodation had everything we could possibly need during our stay there.
