Lovely food and lots of it with a beautiful view of the sea and beach. The prices are reasonable too, would reccommend this place and will be going back.

We were very sceptical about this place when we were shown to our seats as our waiters were very forward with us. Everything was too quick, asking us several times if we’d chosen our drinks in a space of 5 minutes. However, it all turned around when we placed our orders and the food was just to Die for. We just couldn’t fault anything. The Mango Lassi was by far one of the best I’ve had, and I am a huge lover of Mango lassi’s! The starters we ordered, lamb tikka, prawn puri with Popadoms and chutney mix trays were exquisite, so much favours, the meat was so juicy, the prawns were perfectly cooked in its spices and the puri was just so buttery. Followed by our main of Lamb Biriyani, Chicken Bhuna and a vegetable curry with garlic naan bread with salad. The portion size was just perfect for the three of us. Every bite we took into our food was incredibly flavoursome, it wasn’t too spicy, it had body, it was tender, juicy and all in all just scrumptiously delicious. The service improved as we ended up having a Brilliant conversation and even a laugh. A MUST visit if in Newquay!!!

We came here for our Anniversary because we came here before and enjoyed it but this time around our meal was a let down, our starters of spring roll and samosas were supposed to be spicy , they were ok but definitely not spicy at all .
Then our pilau rice was so overwhelming with cloves that it was inedible, also my chicken Karahi was ok but the chicken was very dry and not much flavour.
Apart from that, the staff were very attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for our order to be taken and the view is stunning but unfortunately it is the food that we went for.

Thanks for the review, I'm sorry to hear that your starters wasn't as spicy as you would've liked, they are hand made and as such sometimes the level of spiciness does vary a little, regarding the rice, it is cooked traditionally with cloves, cardamom, cinnamon pods etc, this gives the rice its aromatic flavour, we have cooked our pilau rice this way since our restaurant opened!

Our Chicken Karahi dish uses chicken tikka that is marinated and traditionally cooked in our clay tandoori ovens on skewers, if this was not to your liking then it would've been appreciated if you had notified one of our waiting staff and we would've been happy to help resolve the problem for you, we do make a point of asking you during your meal if everything is ok, if you are not happy with your food let us fix it for you, not only does it allow us to engage with you and make sure you have the evening you deserve but it also allows us to make sure everything is kept at a high standard.

We do hope that visit us again in the future, as you stated you did previously enjoy your food here and I'm confident we can rekindle that enjoyment.

Thank you.
