Spent a great evening night at this delightful pub/restaurant/hotel harbourside at Mousehole. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and high quality. Would definitely stay there again.

The Ship Inn is a comfortable and warm location where we had dinner when visiting Mousehole described by the welsh writer Dylan Thomas as the "most delightful village in England". The food in the restaurant was well done and we tasted tipical cornish plate Fish pie and shrimps. A Tribute beer was also appreciated. We liked the practical way to order food and drink directly to the bar. Next time we hope stop here for accomodation front to the sea.

We hadn't been to Mousehole since our honeymoon 21 years ago.We hadn't stayed at The Ship Inn before but often passed it all those years ago. I am so pleased that for our first visit back we chose the inn. It's a friendly welcoming place. Our room was nicely furnished, clean with a comfortable bed and a lovely en suite. What really made our visit magical was the view from our window. You could almost reach out and touch the sea in the harbour, I was very happy especially when the sun went down and the harbour lights went on. The inn itself is very busy and the staff are cheerful and accommodating, the food is also very good. But it's at breakfast when you really experience the wonderful service and food. Nothing is too much trouble. You really do feel that you arrive as strangers and leave as friends. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and I wish it could have been longer. I can't wait to go back.

We always eat here when I. The area and the food and environment are always great. There is a restaurant area, but we always go in the bar.
Can be tricky to get seated in the season though, so go early or be prepared to wait.

Great traditional pub steeped in history and equally packed with locals and tourists, making for a wonderful atmosphere. Even though it was really busy and we were warned of a 45 minute wait for food, it actually arrived in about 15. Really tasty, excellent value and such friendly staff. Would certainly come back and can happily recommend.
