“Perfect in every way”
Reviewed 24 February 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We found this cottage to be everything we hoped it would be and more. There was a vase of fresh spring flowers and the makings for "cream tea" (this Yank's first) laid out upon arrival. Each day we had a lovely walk along some part of the coast, using Claire's advice about the most beautiful places to walk. The wood stove is so lovely and easy to use. Such a warm and cozy place to sit, read, listen to music, cook. We didn't spend an evening out in our three days in Cornwall because we loved our evenings here. The gardens are beautiful. I can't say enough about this wonderful place.

“Little retreat”
Reviewed 15 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We have just come back from Chyenhal Garden Cottage, and we found it a beautiful, quiet, lovely place to stay. Plenty of room for the 2 of us, which is not always the case for a 1 bedroom place. The cream tea was very welcomed after our long drive.

It is neatly tucked away within the charming gardens. This peaceful setting is especially good in the late evening sun when enjoying a glass of wine, at the top of the garden.
We found it is perfectly positioned to visit the surrounding areas of interest without any problems.
We have enjoyed our stay very much, thank you to Claire and Bern

“Lovely one bedroom cottage set in beautiful peacefull garden.”
Reviewed 13 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Had a wonderful weeks holiday at this gorgeous cottage, a real peaceful haven. Made very welcome on arrival by Bernard and Claire and the cream tea went down well. When we could drag ourselves away from the bbq in the lovely garden, the pub in a nearby village served good food and was a short walk from the cottage. We definitely hope to stay again.

“This cottage rocks”
Reviewed 15 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

This delightful cottage was very clean, spacious, bright and airy. It has everything you can possibly want during your holiday and the shower water pressure is great! On site parking is a bonus too. The owners Claire and Bern were very helpful throughout our stay. We spent many a happy moment wandering throughout the garden. Not enough time to explore all the local attractions but we will be back again in the future.
