Having stopped here for a light lunch, which was not light it was massive. We chose the 'Cornish Ploughman' a fantastic platter consisting of two tasty cheeses, a large amount of tender ham plus several pickles, butter, a mountain of fresh salad and copious amounts of new bread. This filled us up and we then went for a four mile walk along the Cornish coast returning in time for tea.

Yes we had the cream tea, a large pot of Earl Grey plus two hot scones and jam with Cornish cream. It was equally as good as the lunch and with these dishes we could not manage any further food that day.

The location is fantastic by the water and there is a large pontoon to sit on in the warmer weather. Inside there are many small rooms to have your food and drink all kept clean by the very attentive staff. Finally do not miss the gold post box in the outside wall dedicated to Ben Ainslee for his 2012 Olympic gold medal

Really nice pub with fantastic views out across the water, nice pontoon to sit on when the weather permits. I found it a bit expensive but nice food, and a bit out of the way. Not really suitable for small children

Really not a lot to add to the many positive reviews of this pub, apart from the pontoon
If you are in the area you must visit here if only for a drink, and if the weather is kind enough sit outside on the pontoon over the water, a great experience
The location of the pub alone is sufficient to justify a visit but the inclusion of the pontoon is a great step by the owners

On a Summer's day or an Autumn evening the pontoon is a great place to watch the world go buy. The food selection is varied and a top choice is caesar salad. The facilities inside the pub are cosy and welcoming. The staff are always helpful and deliver good service. Its worth hiring a boat from Falmouth and traveling by sea just to pull up at the Inn for a refreshment break. Perfect place..

Went here for an early evening meal , location is amazing , worth finding the place after we originally ended up on the other side of the water could see our destination , but couldn’t get to it other than by boat. Very old and quaint , dark inside due to its age , w3 sat by a window for more light , for us there wasn’t much of an atmosphere. All the staff that served us were very polite , but something was missing. Disappointed with the meals as they weren’t cheap , hence we didn’t go back again.
