Put simply its a little cove with spectacular walks both sides which are good for the cardio workout! There's a little cafe there and free parking in the winter months. The Cornish ice-cream flavours are hit with everyone. Its kind of shingle with sand going into the water (?) but would be amazing for shelter in the summer and probably not as busy as Guilly beach to the east?

Been to beaches on 3 continents and in at least 10 countries. With apologies to the detractors of Swanpool - this place rates. There is a lot going on here in a small amount of space - beach cafe, parking, mini golf, nature preserve (with unique sea life habitat), rocky outcrops, sand, cobbles and for those who like that sort of thing - plenty of seaweed. Caveats - smallish, not pure sand by the water (especially when the tide is out), pristine view occasionally marred slightly by anchored shipping in Falmouth Bay, quite near the road (not too busy) so there will be some vehicle noise. All that considered, I'd go back in any season (and I travelled 3,400 miles to visit the Falmouth area) . It's a cool little beach spot!

We like this beach even at this time of year when it was covered with seaweed...... good cafe .. and a restaurant up the hill...... nice place to go with the family.

It's just not a beach. It's closer to resembling a work site, there is no sand only small rocks. there's in ice cream shop but there's loads over Falmouth and a crazy golf but your better going to the better one by mainporth. Just a not a beach. BUT there is a ramp leading to a walk way on the beach that you can jump off when it's high tide but that's it... the walk up the ramp is lovely thought it leads to a walk past a few coastal beaches.

I’m sorry to hear you feel this way though we can assure you that Swanpool Beach is a much loved attraction comprising the beach itself (sand and shingle in composition) mini-golf, sheltered bay, water sports centre and nature reserve and so is far from a building site.

Lovely little beach popular with dog lovers.
Has a large carpark and toilets just next to the beach.
Very pretty location and there is a lovely café on the beach.
Something here to cheer everyone up!
