We can’t thank you enough for the best surf experience. As newbies we weren’t expecting to stand up and properly surf - but we all did! We had such a great afternoon and felt totally relaxed and confident with our teacher Matt 🤙🏻 it was a day we won't forget😊 thank you so much. We will be back!

Having surfed on and off for a number of years, I am at the stage where I feel my longboarding progress is flat lining. I therefore decided to enquire about a solo intermediate lesson with FSS, before travelling down to Falmouth for a week in the middle of January.

My past experience of surf coaching/lessons has been a bit hit and miss. I was therefore really happy that my lesson with Matt turned out to be a big success. Matt was brilliant. Firstly, he knew exactly where the best surfing conditions would be on the day. This was in the middle of January, and most of the North coast was blown out. Secondly, he spotted weak spots in my surfing after watching me catch my first couple of waves. We decided to work on wave selection, and also turning to keep close to the power pocket of the wave. Matt's feedback was so valuable, and I'm sure it will help me progress.

I highly recommend. I'm planning on a second lesson later in the year once I have had more water time and chance to work on the feedback from the first lesson.
