We were greeted by such friendly staff who assisted us with a map for a walk around the area via the stream and woods which was really lovely. We returned about an hour later to have lunch which I have to say was amazing, the outside area is ideal with scenic views but also they have an undercover area if it gets too hot or the weather turns. I was so impressed we even had desert and because it looked so good I had to take a picture which is a first for me. I would definitely recommend and wish we had found it earlier in our stay as would go there again and again. The food is outstanding but so is the service. Thank you.

An excellent place to enjoy a top class Cornish cream tea, served elegantly on a slate.Hidden away in the lane, this cafe/ restaurant is worth the effort to find it.

Easy to find due to local signposting, despite a couple of the usual narrow Cornish roads. Nice location in wooded area and cafe style. Friendly welcome and service. Typical Sunday lunch with choice of meats and variety of vegetables. Not as cosy or atmospheric as I expected. Great puddings.

I had the ploughman’s lunch and it was absolutely huge ! It was delicious. Lovely surrounding and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Wheelchair accessible too, although there is a tiny little step over the door threshold. I think power chairs will be able to get over it.

Walking away stuffed and satisfied
Do not pass this place by and if you want a roast dinner make sure you book your table via Facebook well in advance that way you won't be left out in the cold If there are no tables available
See you again in May 19 x
