This apartment is within a very modern development centred on pleasant grassland, close to but not impinging upon the City centre. Although three flights up these are very short flights and easily negotiated. There is a very frequent bus service from outside the nearby Grafton centre for anyone not interested in taking the very pleasant walk to the city centre described above. The owner is extremely pleasant and has put a great deal of thought into providing guests with every possible comfort and full and helpful information within the flat.

Our normal hotel was fully booked and other hotels with guaranteed car parking were £350+ for two nights (last weekend of May) so we decided to hire an apartment.
This third floor apartment (note no lift) was clean, comfortable and well equipped with thoughtful little extras like tea, coffee and milk as well as added domestic items like towels and washing up liquid.
The area was quiet and the underground car parking was secure. The small Grafton shopping / leisure centre was about 5-10 minutes walk away whilst the main centre of Cambridge was a 20-30 mins walk away (through the Grafton) and Christ's Pieces.
The area was surprisingly quiet. A retail park including both an Asda and an M&S food was only a two minute walk away through a small cut through.

I stayed here while visiting family who live in Cambridge - they have young ones so I wanted to give them space by staying nearby rather than on their sofa. This is a brilliantly located flat - I didn't have much luggage so walked the easy 20 minutes from the train station, and it felt very central - a shopping mall and cinema less than ten mins walk and the university buildings close by too. The flat seems newly decorated and was immaculate when I arrived. The owner was friendly too and helped with advice on how to get to my friends' place, and the check in/out process was easy. The flat wouldn't be ideal for people with mobility issues as there are three flights of stairs, but otherwise I'd recommend this place in an instant for someone looking for an easy short term apartment stay in Cambridge.
