Went to this restaurant for a retirement lunch with approx 40 work colleagues/ friends. The food was pre ordered Before we arrived as half the group were on a lunch break. No food had arrived an hour after arrival time, so we enquired how much longer the food would be, 5 minutes was the reply for the next 20 minutes by which time 2 ladies had to leave without receiving any food at all, having already paid for their meal ! The last meal was served at least 2 hours after the booking/arrival time. No real apology was given. Several people did not eat their burgers as they were under cooked & the meat in my steak wrap was so tough I was unable to eat it ! All in all very disappointing. We had a nice time but this was despite rather than because of the venue.

Went to watch the World Cup as they had a big screen got pints which where okay happy hour so £3. Happy with that. Two for one cocktails but they are between £8-12. Then we ordered food burgers were no way near what they where charged it was very standard. Chips got the cheese and truffle fries which was £4 and a tiny bowl of chunky chips with cheese on the top really really poor. Then atmosphere is nice chairs are comfy and layout is good. Toilets are a bit of a walk down lots of stairs but has a disabled toilet if mobility is an issue as there is lots of stairs. Finally the screen stopped working just before the match started so ended up watching it on a small screen and no apology or reason or if they where fixing it so overall disappointing.

Came here before going to a restaurant, had a couple of cocktails and they where amazing!! Had our meals then came back for more cocktails because they where so good.

The bar tender was very friendly and recommended the rhubarb and custard will be back to try the food

I'm a big fan of old brizzle and i'm also a fan of cheap falafel wraps. Came in here for a bite to eat and a beer for lunch. I was gutted when I ordered said wrap and was told there was no falafel. I went for a burger instead which was ok. The beer selection was standard and the korev is a decent pint. Price isn't to be grumbled at so its a good place to get some cheap eats for lunch.
