Really liked this place. We came for just a snack and we liked the large circular window and it had been recommended to us. Service was good. We ordered a large portion of king prawns and cider. All good. The prawns were more like large shrimp rather than in the king size category, but taste was good and ambiance excellent.

First off, this review has taken 9 months to get around too... Which gives you an idea of how laid back we are.

We were looking for something that matched our attitude and laid back style, and Mud Dock delivered on the nose, they really nailed it. What we didn't want was a venue calling us every other day asking where something was to be placed or, can you make a decision on this and on that, what we got was Anna.

Anna, from day one... was as helpful, kind, and professional as you would hope/expect from anyone looking after your wedding. We met with Anna 2-3 times before the big day, and each time she answered any questions we had and put our minds at ease. She made suggestions on the food based on her experience and knowledge of what they do well... and we had amazing feedback from all our guests about the food. It was all really great, I honestly can't say that enough.

The staff were phenomenal, I was looking around for all of 2 seconds looking for another fork at dinner, and Anna just appears at my side to ask if there's something she can help with... I had a fork 2 seconds later. The bar staff were all really friendly and having a good laugh with our friends & family, truly faultless.

If you're thinking of having a wedding here, I would highly recommend it, so long as you don't try and turn it into something it's not. We left all the decrotive choices of the venue to Anna and the team as they know it best, and although the inside of the mud dock isn't to everyone's taste, it was perfect for us, and we had a wonderful, stress free wedding day owed largely to all the team at the Mud Dock.

Anna, on a personal note... So sorry this took so long, but we are forever grateful for all the hard work you and the team put in to our day, and we'll never forget it x

We'd booked a table as were a group of 7 and was disappointed to be placed as far away from the deck as possible considering it was a nice day. Nevertheless, the staff were patient with our indecisiveness and we didn't have to wait too long for our orders. I had pulled pork burger which was a bit dry and the sauce far too salty but the others seemed quite happy. The cider was on the warm side which didn't help but overall ok.
