“Wonderful House for Family Reunion”
Reviewed 30 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Don't be deceived by the tiny front door! The rooms are as captured in the images.

Spanning over 4 floors, I got the short straw being at the top of the house.

Great sized kitchen for entertaining with all the crockery too.

The Internet was not working but Jo sent her husband over the next morning to sort it out.

Lovely large bathroom and additional shower room. A bathroom on each floor would have topped it off but all in all we had a nice family get together with family from 3 different continents!

Thank you very much Jo and husband for your timely responses to my messages and lending us your property.

“Great hen house”
Reviewed 5 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Just returned from a weekend at the Big Bristol House and we had such a great time there. There were 12 of us stopping at the property for a hen do and it suited our needs brilliantly in a great location.
There were two parking permits for the house and an NCP just a few minute's walk as well which made it easy for us all to get there.
You walked in and it felt instantly homely which was lovely and all the rooms were simply furnished but really light and airy and the beds were comfortable. There was linen and towels provided.
The house is over four floors and due to the number of beds we needed the lounge had been turned into a bedroom but when you went downstairs to the bottom level there was a massive kitchen diner and it became a great entertaining space for all of us. You didn't miss not having a living room at all.
We cooked there altogether on the first night and there was more than enough equipment, glasses, crockery etc to go round.
One slight downside for a large group would be there are only two toilets/bathrooms so for 12 women getting ready for a hen weekend, it took a bit of organising plus we did have an issue with the electricity on the Saturday but that was fixed and there was still power in the big dining area/kitchen so we managed fine.
But overall, I would really recommend this property for anyone wanting a great party house right in the centre of Bristol. It was just five minutes walk to great bars and restaurants plus breakfast haunts to ease the sore heads on the Sunday morning.
Be warned, there is an early check out at 10am but we all still made it out in time.
We made some fantastic memories there though and would definitely consider hiring again for a big group.

“Great House in Great Location”
Reviewed 1 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Stayed at this property for a group long weekend. Great space for entertaining, and the location is excellent for most areas of Bristol. Also, very responsive owner - when we arrived, mentioned a couple of light bulbs were out, and they were fixed within about 20 minutes!Would highly recommend.

“The best base for our girlie weekend”
Reviewed 1 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We had an amazing weekend in Bristol and the big house was the perfect base! Our weekend was based around the Clifton Triangle and centre of town - most of which we could walk to from the location. Though when back at the house it felt liked you had completely escaped the city buzz.

The house itself was brilliant. Plenty of space for everyone that stayed, a huge eat in Kitchen that was brilliant for entertaining and a nice courtyard garden.

We hope to back again. Thanks!
