“Simply Sublime...!”
Reviewed 1 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Modern luxury and convenience embraced in a retro style interior, with a warm and inviting ambiance. If the library of books and artifacts don't immediately capture you, the view from the wrap around veranda certainly will. Full of indulgences (like the outdoor shower) and home like comforts, no effort has been spared in offering guests an sublime and authentic experience.

“The Warehouse is an AWESOME place to stay!!!”
Reviewed 24 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Zelda. Thanks for the stay at “The Warehouse”.

On arrival Hester welcomed us with spoils.
Donald was on hand and showed us around; we immediately felt at home!
Your décor is captivating. Different themes throughout! Always something new to distract the wary soul…. We stayed in the Boiler room but popped into the Right Stuff across the attic passage with the War Birds soaring to the right.
Soaking in the lazy afternoon sunsets with a glass of wine, unwinding on the stoep became a way of life… braaiing and looking at the Protea’s on the ridge and lap-pool beckoning below. Moving to Johnny’s Garage later in the evening for a relaxing movie or two with a fire going in the back.
After a good night’s rest, the mornings held its own…. breathtaking views over the Cradle of Human Kind. Antelope and veld-bird graced us each morning during bathroom hour. “Amazing”…. Felt like being in a nature reserve!
Well rested and relaxed we had to depart again. Rest assured we will be back!

I recommend this stay for anyone that wants an easy access in and out of Gauteng and a real wow self-catering stay.

Thanks again.

A beeeeaaauuuutiful backdrop for our film 'Met Kind'...why did we choose it? Because there is simply nothing else like it. I am a visually aesthetic person; if you love to relax in a tranquil, homely surrounding, this is the place for you...we chose it for our movie for Pete's sake!

“Time slowed down - best me-time ever”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I live in joburg and just needed to find a place to clear my head and do some writing.
The incredibly quaint and retro furniture throughout made everything feel extra special - like I was in an arty stay in Parys, SA. It also felt very secluded even though it was in a security neighbourhood. It opened out onto a stretch of natural koppies where Steenbok roam and sheep and cows grazed in the open field below. Time slowed and it was exactly the getaway from the hustle and bustle i needed. Thank you!

“Great location for a shoot!!”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

I had the opportunity to work as part of a film crew that used this as a location. What an amazing venue! Beautiful views, natural light, enough space to get everything done - the cozy nooks and fireplaces made me want to stay over after the shoot was over! It's hard to believe that this location is not even far from the city, making it ideal for shoots like these. Congratulations on a a beautiful, well-maintained, gorgeous location!
