I enjoyed Italian gelato from North to South, abroad made by people with Italian roots, in small cities and large ones - but L'Artigiano in the village of Vignola belongs to the champions league of Gelato Artists. Traditional flavours and a rather restricted variety of icetypes, grants the gelato despite the small and unspectacular outlet at the villages periphery its class. If you are nearby and are in for a gelato, don't hesitate a second!
