We had a great time at Caerowen. Although the Welsh weather wasn't on our side everything else was great. It was close to explore the Pembrokshire countryside or go for coastal walks. The mobile network wasn't great and there wasn't wifi. It felt great for few days being totally detached from phones and internet. There was a small snooker table and a hot-tub to chill so time in the Caerowen went quick. Kitchen, living room, bed rooms were all spacious, but I think a slightly bigger fridge would be great. Overall our stay was fantastic and Melissa (the owner) had been very helpful.
Accommodation rather drab and dated. but kept clean, perfect location for relaxing and peaceful. Tv ancient although serviceable could have done with wifi, Sadly weather poor every day but we got out every day some nice places to visit and lots of good restaurants to visit, would not visit again!
This place is a true little gem! It is as private as they come surrounded only by fields. The hot tub is exclusively private (unlike a lot of other places I checked) and stunning at night! With all the lights turned out, sat in the hot tub the starry sky was a wonder to behold! We saw about 10 shooting stars in one night alone.
The bungalow itself was genuinely lovely, clean and cosy. be From the homely kitchen to the wonderful view from the front patio whilst eating breakfast (watching the majestic birds fly over the fields) to the great little pool table.
The hospitality was grear too! Melissa ensured everything was catered for (even the extra TV with HDMI ports) and we were left entirely to our own privacy which was greatly appreciated.
Our recommendations for the area are to try the Chinese takeaway provided in the leaflets for a quiet movie night in or the De Mhile distillery for any whiskey lovers.
Thank you for the amazing memories!
