Sanora was just what we were looking for as a home base at the time of my daughter's wedding nearby. Clean spaces and beautiful serene gardens. Claude was an excellent and hospitable host. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Thanks we will come again
On a whim, my husband and I decided to visit Jamaica for a week with a friend who loves it and knows the ropes. We shared one of the two houses available to rent at Morning Glory Villas where she had stayed several times before. Located at Mammee Bay which is near the town of Ocho Rios and about an hour and a half drive from Montego Bay, we were thrilled to arrive at our lovely destination. The grounds were huge, well maintained and stunning and our house was comfy and had everything we needed, plus a great porch overlooking the gardens. So, instead of an all-inclusive, impersonal resort, we had a "home" with a cook/housekeeper who made delicious local dishes and a jack-of-all-trades maintainance man who kept things going with a smile. Only a five minute walk from a gorgeous beach, we could soak in the turquoise waters and let it all go.
We stayed in a villa for 2 weeks with children and extended family. The owner and his staff were extremely helpful in lots of ways, and made us feel very much at home.
The villa is well equipped with good air conditioning and wifi access.
Gardens in front of the property are beautiful and maintained daily by a talented gardener.
The villa is close to the beach (a few minutes work), to Ocho Rios and its tourist attractions, and to the main road which can take you to other parts of Jamaica.
We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family.
We heard that many guests return - and we can see why.

Claude and his wife are super amazing people; so friendly and welcoming! The villa we stayed in (Sanaora) 2 bedroom and it is beautifully located in safe area!! It is spacious all though the living room can tend to get warm you can always go cool down in your air conditioned rooms!! The staff is incredible, Margaret the house keeper and Boston the care taker are people that make you want to return to Jamacia!! The beach is only 2 mins away... BUT it is 5$ a beer and sometimes 6$ when cruise ships come in, they also charge 10$ a beach chair or 25$
For the beds. we just lied on our towels and decided not pay that... But no complaints about the beach just the prices are unreasonable and the food is amazing but again high prices!! Claude provides you with beach card and gives you 10% off but that does not include the beach chairs..only the alcohol and food.
I can't express how welcomed we felt during our stay!! Claude sure makes sure his geusts are token well care of, and provided with nothing but the best!! the land around the villa is well maintained by Boston and beautifully breathe taking! For future renters its recommended to rent a vecihle while here as taxis can be costly just have to remeber to negotiate... You can get places for 1-2 (but can easily be crammed in the back seat with 5-6 people.
thanks so much!! I would come back here in a heart beat but would prefer to have a bigger group!! Thanks so much Claude!!
