Incredibly welcoming couple and cats. Really nice stay over, we would stay again if in this location. Payment is by cash but the centre isn’t far in case you are caught short. Peaceful area to stay with nature all around

At first glance, the house seems your normal, mid-century rambler in a sweet spot of woods down a gravel lane not far from town. But the moment Renee opens the door and welcomes you in, you realize you've found a small, old world inn in the heart of BC! As if the French antiques and German linens and wonderful European hospitality are not enough, Renee's menagerie of animals will make you feel right at home! We met four cats, a small fox, and a fawn upon our arrival; squirrels and a fat robin greeted us the next day. Comfortable room and bath, uber-clean home and wonderful breakfast of eggs, toast, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee or tea, meats and cheeses, cereal, and yogurt. Renee's house and woods (and Renee herself!) are a little slice of heaven on earth!

Stayed at this B&B for one night. We we arrived early and Renee (owner) made of very welcome and went out of her way to make us comfortable, offering us cake and coffee. The house is aptly names 'Cozy Cubbyhole' , is very clean and is full of beautiful antique furniture. Breakfast was exceptional.
Thanks Renee.

positives:
Friendly hostess v
ery rural setting (chance of wildlife in the garden)
late evening check-in was no problem at all and tea was awaiting us when we arrived much choice at breakfast

negatives:
there is not so much to do around 100 mile house so it's more of a one-two night passing through accomodation (and for that it's perfect)
lots of carpets in the house might not be good for those with dust allergies

Stayed: May 2017

The BB lies near the town in a very quiet street. We were welcomed by our hostess. She gave us some useful advice about trips to do, and about a good restaurant. The room with 2 beds is small, beds are good. However, there is a nice livingroom to sit in. Breakfast was good and served very elegant at a nicely dressed table. There are a few cats, so don't go there if you're allergie.
