Owner description: Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.
Useful Information: Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities

We really enjoy camping at Ten Mile lake. We usually stay in the touring campground which accommodates larger RV's. Each site has pretty bushes and trees giving you privacy from your neighbour. From this campsite it is a nice leisurely walk to the lake.

I camped for one night at the very end of September this year. The campsite was quiet, well kept, and the staff were really nice. The facilities were clean and the walking trails and lake were beautiful.

The campsite was nice and though overworked, the two person staff seemed to have a handle on it. Everything was well maintain but fun was discouraged at every turn. We even got in trouble for our music at 1 in the afternoon despite the fact that were kids screaming all over the place and speedboats and jet skiis were roaring all over the lake. The locals were mostly rude and sometimes intentionally ignorant, hogging the boat launch and buzzing the swim area and people trying to fish. It was a long weekend and there was no visit from a CO, police officer or park warden so people were drinking on their party boats and acting stupid with abandon. No plans to go back for us. If you really want to go, make it mid week or on a regular weekend.

Went to the park with grandkids and dogs. Lots of open space for kids to play by the water and meadows. A number of hikes around the lake. Some short and some lover. Lake really nice for fishing and boating. Camp ground looks nice but I have never stayed there yet. Off lease area for dogs to run around and swim in the lake.
