We had a wonderful family holiday in Las Casitas. The charming cortijo still has lots of original features, as well as many mod cons which made our stay very comfortable, including a heated pool. The house was clean and well prepared for our arrival. We loved the fact that we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the village we stayed in, but were still close to amenities & attractions for family days out, especially an enormous variety of beaches to explore. Our favourite was Playa de Agua Amarga which can be reached through Cabo de Gata National Park. Lots of great restaurants and bars to explore, including a lovely little cafe/bar called El Paniajo on the Lubrin-Bedar road but we went cross country and reached via the dried river bed which was quite an adventure. Also worth trying are the tapas bars in nearby Bedar.
