We pooped in on the off chance that we could get a snack and a drink. Although at the time we arrived the venue wasn't serving the full menu the tapas style, small bites were perfect. Very tasty and a great variety and the wine fabulous. The staff were lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

The bar that used to be here made Loughton a no go area on a Saturday night. The restaurant stands are chance of making Loughton a "go to"area,

First impressions were excellent: nice decoration, nice welcome, drinks order taken. In fact the service stayed just about perfect for the entire night. It was attentive and friendly; never once did we feel rushed - wine glasses filled when they needed to be rather after every sip.

The menu offers around eight starters and 8 mains, but choosing (particularly from the starters) was a struggle as they all appealed. That 2 unrepentant carnivores ended eating a meal that was almost entirely vegetarian says lot's, I feel, about the attention and thought given to the food here.

Wine list also impressed with a choices available to suit all budgets.

Overall a lovely evening, impressive enough for me to say with confidence that we will return here - probably again and again.

Beautiful decor and such a great atmosphere. The service is great and the food was incredible! Been 5 times already and most recently we had a few Nibbleinnis to start then the lobster which was amazing and and the plaice which was flavored perfectly. Cocktails are great so we stayed until it closed. Loughtons best new restaurant!

Quirky restaurant replacing the infamous Nu bar. We had a late Sunday lunch.
Atmosphere is loud and energetic not a place for those wanting a quiet Sunday but fine for us.
Service was warm friendly and attentive.

We each had the beef roast for larger groups you can order a roast joint and carve it yourself. Price was £20 took a little time to arrive but was certainly worth it Highlights were the perfectly cooked beef which melted in the mouth, the veggies, amazing carrots and assorted others all cooked well. Roasties were plentiful but slightly disappointing being abit too crunchy .
We all agreed that this one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in a restaurant ( and we have had a few) coupled with a lively atmosphere and great service this new restaurant is certainly worth a visit either on a Sunday or an evening with friends, we will be back ;-)
