Next to estuary, pub, footpath with parking. Great location. Breakfast each morning at a bench overlooking the estuary. Cottage basic but has everything you need. Great walking. Fantastic base for exploring the area. Nice kitchen needed a good scrub though

Thanks for the review. We are glad you love the location as much as we do.
We are particularly pleased with the new kitchen which is normally kept sparkling. We're very sorry we failed on this occasion.

“Great location”

We stayed at No 53 Noss Mayo for 7 weeks and enjoyed our stay, the location was really beautiful. The house had a modern galley kitchen, which was fully equipped and had everything we required. We found the house to have a really homely feel to it and we were very comfortable during our stay.

Really well equipped and comfortable, village perfectly suited for coastal walks and visits to secret beaches and coves. So much to do that although just a few mins from Plymouth we did not go near it. The setting is lovely just above the water and near the pub.

What a find! Really lovely spot right at the water's edge. Pub next door and another a few minutes walk away. Watch the tide coming in and out all day ... Walk to another pub in next village at low tide. Coast path on the doorstep. Parked the car and lived a different life for a while. Magic.

“A waterside gem”

Just returned from a fabulous week in Noss Mayo. The place itself is a haven of peace and tranquillity and we were blessed with great weather! Come fair of foul weather, No 53 is a home from home haven: It is spotlessly clean, there is free Wifi, the hot water and heating work a treat and there is a lovely shower. The new kitchen is also a great hit and very well equipped too. Fresh flowers left on the table was a lovely touch and added to the sense of welcome. The lounge looked jaded on the internet site and nearly put me off - but the sofas were extremely comfortable and the actual room is bright and sunny, not drab and dismal as I had feared. The upstairs bathroom is a little tired (to use Estate Agents speak) but who really cares when the BEST aspect of this cottage has to be its waterside location - hard to be beat! The Ship Inn is a delightful place to eat and the coastal walking sublime. Very sad to be home in fact!
