Stayed at the Postmarc for one night. Thought we would splurge and get one of the fireplace king suites. We have stayed here before and really enjoyed the rooms. Well this time we got a room that was, well for lack of a better description weird. You walk into the room and laid out before you is the most confusing layout. They boast Jacuzzis in their rooms, but what we walked into was nothing short of a oddly shaped whole in the floor with steps leading in. It easily could have held 500 gallons of water, but we never made it that far. After about an hour, and three faucets, running full blast we got the water to the first step…just enough to cover the jets. Tried to turn on the jets, took about 4 tries to get them on. I would equate it to trying to start an old truck, you know it will start eventually you just have to be patient. Well we sat there for a few minutes looking around the completely steam filled room and just gave up on the idea of having a relaxing bath. Once we got the steam cleared, using the exhaust fan in the small toilet room, we went to bed. Most everything was damp from the steam. Needless to say we were a little disappointed. There were other things that needed attention, but those were just cosmetic. The mirrors were a little unnerving, and the hooks and eye bolts attached directly over the bed, odd. So if you are looking at the Postmarc avoid at all costs room 118, unless you are into this kinda thing.
