Have been to multiple states and countries with RCI. My wife and I have never avoided speaking to the concierge desk before. Before you get an answer to a question you have to listen to the pre sales pitch sales pitch.

Location is great. Lake is just a few steps away and good restaurants and shopping nearby. Resort is clean and staff is friendly. The Bear Moon restaurant has great food and drinks and a friendly efficient staff. We have been here many times for a family vacation and will come back again.

The location of the Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort is fantastic! This was our first stay in Tahoe and this was a great place to start. We came 2 hours early and were given the keys to our unit. We were excited it was ready early, until we saw that it was still being cleaned. It was 97 outside and felt like no A/C was on in the public waiting areas. The fireplace was on where we waited. We sat and sweated for 2 hours for our unit. The WIFI did not work until day 3 of our stay. The phones went out at times. No conditioner or body wash was provided. Parking was very limited and we were afraid to go anywhere and lose our space. The large window screens popped out suddenly on 2 diff days from 2 different windows. Very startling! The TVs were blurry and seemed old. Not the high standards we would expect from a diamond resort. However, the location of the timeshare was fantastic! We LOVED the activities center, staff, and the variety of activities provided for our kids (ages 12 and 13). We enjoyed walking to Heavenly Resort some days. The lake near by has no shade in the afternoon, so bring an umbrella. We rented a boat by the neighboring marina and loved it!
