We went on a couples mid-week getaway in March and opted for the one bedroom deluxe suite. The main room was very spacious and clean, the bedroom had a safe and was also pretty roomy. The bathroom off the bedroom was also large, clean and well stocked. Like many have said, the location could not have been better, just across the road from the Gondola, shops and restaurants. The covid precautions were taken seriously with floors marked for social distancing and hand sanitizers readily available. Breakfast was well organized, but you have to take it back to the room to eat (which was fine).
I only have 2 slight gripes; 1) being charged a resort fee when all amenities were not available (bar, games room, pool, hot tub, Etc.) but that is the norm in Stateline. 2) upon arrival (which, admittedly, we were a few hours early), we were told that our room would be available within an hour. We came back about 90 minutes later to be told that our room was available, but if we wanted to get in there, it would incur a $50 fee. We declined.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Forest Suites Resort to everyone and am already looking forward to a return trip once restrictions are relaxed so that more of the amenities are available.

Last minute ski trip for 5 and was very pleased with Forest Suites.

Lobby staff warm and welcoming, great onsite parking and great location, easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. While the complex is older, and some may say dated, the rooms were quite cleaned and well maintained. We had 2 separate bedrooms and baths and the whole condo was quite spacious. Beds and especially pillows very comfortable and it was nicely quiet. Staff take COVID mitigation very seriously (but friendly). We found breakfast extremely satisfying with, you make your selections from the day’s offerings and return to your room to eat.

All in all pleased with Forest Suites and would stay again.

The resort is perfectly fine for a no-frills ski trip.

The pluses are: fantastic location, rooms are spacious, staff is polite.

The challenges are: very dated property, it is a motel with all rooms opening to the outdoors, there are no amenities, staff does nothing but dispense keys (no requests are granted, whether for late checkout or use of games from the gameroom or other).

In short, they charge resort prices for a motel experience, but the location is outstanding.
