“Great accommodation”
Reviewed 19 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Stayed here last week with four adults and our 23 month old grandson. We had a great welcome on arrival and the accommodation was exactly as described and as shown in the photographs. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. The accommodation was spacious. The garden was child safe and our grandson loved running round. The electric gates also ensured he could not get out on to the road. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were supplied.
We found the location good there were plenty of places of interest to visit within a few miles. We visited Poole, Weymouth, Abbotsbury and Lyme Regis.
I would certainly recommend Lynchett Chase Barn to everyone.

“A stunning barn conversion with everything you could need.”
Reviewed 1 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Lynchett Chase Barn certainly has the wow factor as you walk in. It has been beautifully done and comes very well equipped. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children, who all had a lovely time here, and this place had everything we needed. Space for the kids to run around, including outside, and the perfect dining table to settle around and play games in the evenings. It is well located with only a short drive to the coast, and River Cottage HQ is only half an hour away. The owners were very helpful and friendly and we would certainly recommend this to others. We were lucky to be able to go out of season though so the price was more manageable.

Three generations had a lovely stay at the barn. The kids loved the games room and the massive, secure garden. The kitchen was perfectly equipped and the whole barn was very spacious and well laid out. It was a great base to visit lots of different places around Dorset and was a lovely place to return to at the end of the day. Gaynor was very helpful. Thanks for a great stay.

went with partner, 2 1/2 year old twin boys and in-laws for a week the barn was easy to find, and with in walking distance to the village and back, the welcome was lovely and the people were very attentive to any questions , queries or issues that arose, the garden was big and the boys loved being able to go straight out in the mornings , the garden swept round to the front but as everything was fully enclosed with secure electric gates the boys were free to roam with out any worries, the barn is open plan living downstairs so we could keep an eye on them at all times, great utility area for storing the pram etc... highly equipped in the kitchen with an extra fridge freezer in the games room, shower gel/shampoo,conditioner & hand gel were supplied in all bathrooms which was a nice touch and there was tea, coffee, milk and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.already looking at going back next year. didn't have to travel too far for something to do, Cerne Abbas, Weymouth ( by train from the village),Dorchester, West Bay ,Lyme Regis, Durdle Door,Abbotsbury children's farm & Swanage ( Boys loved the steam train from park and ride at Norden) were all visited and no journey was longer than 40 mins! with loads still left to visit for next year,
My only down point was the fact that you enter / leave the property straight onto an awkward junction but this cannot be altered and the side road is quite quiet.

“Fantastic place to stay!!!”

We stayed in the barn for a week over the May half term school holiday, 2 families of 4, 4 adults and 4 children (aged 14, 10, 10 and 7). The barn was absolutely wonderful , very clean and full of everything we could have wanted! A real home away from home.

The games room was a bonus especially for the boys who took great pleasure in organising our table tennis tournaments!

Close to some fantastic local pubs, only a short trip from the coast and we had some great days out in Weymouth, Dorchester, Lulworth, Charmouth, West Bay and many more.

Would highly recommend a stay here and would love to return soon!!
