We visited the restaurant on Friday night and the owner Carlo recommended fish as Friday's specials. He talked us through each dish from the menu and all individual ingredients. We loved this personal service and casual chat with the owner. For our meal we chose mussels antipasti, steak tartar antipasti, fish pasta and fish dish as our main followed by fig dessert. The presentation was outstanding, art on a plate! All ingredients were carefully selected to compliment each other in all dishes we tried. It was definitely one of the best meals we've ever had. The rule of the chef is to use only seasonal ingredients in his dishes. The decor is quirky and modern and the place has a brilliant vibe to it. Music was also excellent, played Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet, which adds to the complete experience.
