“Lovely little cottage”

Great cottage, everything you need and plenty of places to visit at a short distance. One place to visit is the White Hart pub a stone throw away from the cottage. Friendly local with excellent food - best we had during our stay. The cottage is well equipped and clean with a lovely garden. Parking wasn't an issue, we always managed to park right outside the cottage.

“Characterful cottage, nice atmosphere”

Nice little cottage, sympathetically refurbished. Well equipped kitchen and nice big bath in the large bathroom. Loved the peaceful spot at the back of the garden to read, or just contemplate. Only minor points: disappointed that the parking was just outside on the road, particularly with tractors and tipper trucks thundering by frequently. Having said that, we always managed to park right outside the cottage, Good pub just a couple of doors up the road and a lovely walk to Marazzion starts just across the road (40 minutes). Overall we had a very nice week at Cherry Tree Cottage.

“A beautiful house and garden”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We spent a relaxing week in July 2014 and were pleased with the how the cottage and garden had been finished and furnished by the owners.
The location is excellent for south west Cornwall and the walk to Marazion is easy and well rewarded on arrival.
A minor negative is the commercial traffic in particular the number of tipper lorries using the road at the time. We were told this was to build a new supermarket in Hayle, so should be temporary, but to have them rumbling past your bedroom window from about 6.30am at intervals of 2 to 5 minutes, wasn't welcome.
Apart from that, very good.
