Hosts most helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.
Local supermarkets deliver so distance from shops not a problem. Wifi most useful.

It’s impossible to say anything negative about Dukes Farm. The attention to detail, character, warm reception, delightful hosts and views are a must. It really is the perfect package! Cannot recommend highly enough, will be back!

“Go on, go and see the sights in Craswall, and meet the wonderful hosts”
Reviewed 2 September 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Going on a holiday with 3 kids, aged between 9 and 15, can be a challenge. The sights and surroundings of Dukes Farm in Craswall make you want to go on long walks on the Cat's Back ridge, along Offa's Dyke path, to Hay-on-Wye, into the Brecon Beacons national park and so much more. The kids were thrilled. So were we. Ken and Ruth are wonderful hosts, making sure we have what we need to get around in their extensive Survival Guide but also by giving us tips and tricks to enjoy our stay even more.

“Beautiful and remote”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We visited with a large family group, and hired out all three cottages. We had an amazing time with full use of the terrace, trampoline, boot room etc.

The cottages were clean and full of character - the largest (swallow barn) is nicely laid out with two bedrooms at each end of the barn, so two families can comfortably stay together while still having their own space.

The location was beautiful, with lovely views of the valley. Looking at a map doesn't give a full sense of how isolated you are here - you need to make sure you have a fully stocked cupboard! (Although owners were super helpful and would help out with anything you'd forgotten I'm sure!) Day trips were lovely, but they're all at least an hour away - so make sure you're looking for a quiet secluded holiday!
