For those planning to visit Hampi, Hyatt Place is a best option to stay. The place, although an hour's drive away from Hampi, is located at Torangallu Vidyanagar complex - a planned and serene township developed and maintained by JSW. The locale itself is worth a stroll with the amount of greenery and tranquility it provides.
As for the hotel itself, the general facilities, surroundings and rooms per se are spacious, well maintained and clean. Had an issue with the door lock; the staff there was prompt enough to get it resolved.
Food is delectable. Breakfast and Dinner spread was quite elaborate, catering to the tastes of all.

Landed at Hyatt Place Hampi by mistake. If you are visiting Hampias a tourist, it is too far. Stay somewhere closer to Hampi. But we got a bonus by way of visting the JSW steel City which is one of the most beautiful indistrial townships.
Hote property is good, well maintained and clean. But it appeared to be run by trainees only. Hence the service was poor, the quality of food was good but selections very limited. Breakfast selections was the poorest. Eggs were tasteless, fruits only Papaya and watermelon, bread selection very limited.

Good things:
1. They cared about kid and his food
2. food was custom prepared as needed
3. Regular sanitisation was happening
4. Room service was prompt
Couple of glitches:
1. First day breakfast - service was poor, didn't receive order for more than 20 mins and had to multiple times ask and even go to main desk for the same (order was small only with v.few items)
2. the game room was not well maintained - not much attention was given to it from staff
3. there was no food menu or hotel info booklet in room
Overall, was good experience and would recommend to friends and family

A great place that gives you just the right enviornment during heavy business schedule, where after business hours you can relax as if on a vacation. Coming from Germany this gives an urlaub (vacation) kind of feeling. We look for this kind of place where we can chill on vacation, this weather, this peacful atmosphere, great Indian food along with continental dishes when you long for.

But quite far from Hampi. Have to travel a lot to go to hampi and roads on that way were in very bad shape when we visited. Good place to stay. But not recommended at all if you are going here for hampi.
