We loved our stay here ... nice quiet side of the island. Spacious unit with gorgeous view of the ocean. Both bedrooms are large with a full bathroom in each. Long beach is great for walking. Would stay here again.

Just had a two week stay at Morritts and had a great time. Enjoyed both the quiet relaxation in a one bedroom pool side unit and the trill in a two bedroom ocean front unit. The one bedroom was clean but the furniture and appliances were dated. The two bedroom in the Grand was comfortably furnished and updated and had a huge patio, nice sizable bathrooms and a good kitchen. The staff was friendly, the food available was good, the activities were good including mini golf, tennnis, pool games, and nightly entertainment. The off site options on the east end nearby are great for local food and beach and water activities. I do recommend Morritts for the value it provides for your stay in Grand Cayman.

I was constantly surprised at how nice everyone on the island was. Unlike other islands, where citizens sometimes resent tourists, everyone here was exceptionally receptive. My room was great. Ocean front, The Londoner, with long balcony, 4 double door width. Overlooking Mimi's dockside bar, which I enjoyed. Some people stated they wished to be further from the noise. But what I found was that the rooms were very well insulated. Withe the patio doors closed, I could barely hear the music in my room. If I went to bedroom, I could not hear at all. But when I was in the mood, I could just go out on my spacious balcony. Large table and chairs, several upright chairs, and several lounge chairs. The beds and pillows were soft, which I am very picky about and judge each place I stay at by. They were equal to the Marriott in comfort. I had a huge kitchen. It could have stood having a cutting board, but otherwise well stocked. The only downside was the beach. Had rained alot and greatly covered with trash and seaweed. If you could brave getting past this and swimming maybe 40 feet out, then there was some of the best snorkeling on the island without even leaving your area. And free. If you want cheaper snorkeling trips, speak to your conceirge for greatly discounted prices. Rob was the best. A lovely Scottish guy that I truly enjoyed conversing with.

Room tip: I preferred The Londoner, others liked the Grand area. You don't have to get high to get a good view.

Very courteous and helpful staff, especially Wrisha at the front desk. Morritts is a clean and well maintained resort situated on the East End offering a quiet and relaxing vacation away from the crowded development of 7 Mile Beach area.

From the time we arrived to the time we left we had a fantastic vacation. You don’t need 7 mile beach stay on the East End of you want more quiet, more relaxation and beautiful people. The staff at the Morritts From all the reception staff Wrisha, Marsella, Jesus Vasquez, Mr Wright, David, James our host Kim, her boss Elliott, Leizbeth our cleaning person and all the other staff to include the activities were all top notch. We plan on returning again in 2020. The food at David’s, Mimi’s, and Ivan’s on the property was good, well presented, and worth it. The rum punch and other bar drinks were fantastic. Leon the driver was also a great addition and got us to the airport and back as well as his trips were worth the money we spent. The beach, snorkeling and water sports at red sail were convenient. We also enjoyed Captain Chris excursion very much. If you want to have a home away from home and away from the congestion on 7 mile beach go to the Morritts Tortuga Resort, they filled all of our needs and made us feel like we were family. We will see you next year.
