This restaurant has a 7 course tasting menu. We were impressed on our visit in 2017 and returned again this year.
We were not disappointed. Each course was a delight. Service was exceptional and the views are magnificent.

Highly recommended.

We have eaten in 8 of the top 10 restaurants ranked in Eat Out. This was number one in our opinion. The only point that let it down was the stupidly expensive wine, had we known we would have paid corkage, so take heed and come with your bottle/s!

Location amazing, we sat upstairs in wine tasting area and watched the sun set, then the lights twinkling from Cape Town. After 40 years of marriage we even felt romantic

Food, without fault, but you have to be happy with a no choice tapas style menu.

Service without fault.

Fine dining prices but hey what do you expect!

The setting itself, high above the vineyards is the perfect place for the magic that unfolds on your plate. From a tiny kitchen packed with specialist chefs the food is incredible. Three flights of 3 dishes each of tapas to share. This is when the true brilliance starts. The presentation is an art form. The chef combines flavours across the the flights that complement the story. This may sound over the top, try it yourself.

Had lunch at Chef’s Warehouse at Beau Constatia on a beautiful late summer day. Great views from the terrace across False Bay towards Helderberg and Somerset West.
My menu started with four oysters topped with chilly fried onions and cucumbers - just great! Followed by two tuna plates: the sashimi was a bit too spicy for my taste, but i enjoyed the other dish. 3rd was a rich risotto - very good, but a bit too rich and too much for a sunny day. the 10 hours sous vide lamb rims with grilled tomatoes was just magnificent and the final chocolate orgy made my day.

We have been dining out in Cape Town daily since we arrived a week ago and our dinner at Chef’s Warehouse has been the best meal we have had. The restaurant has the most panoramic views of the city and the service was outstanding! The food is creative, beautifully plated with delicate, interesting touches. The wine complimented the meal perfectly!
