“Freshest Sushi and best ramen in Cape Town!”

This place definitely has the best ramen in town! It has a very relaxed vibe, with great sushi and ramen options in the menu, It's worth to mention that they don't serve alcohol. The service is as relaxed as the atmosphere, it's a bit too slow if you only want a quick lunch. There is a beautiful selection of fresh spices on display to tease your taste buds while you're waiting, and they are very generous with the spices! A little chili can go a long way! My all time favourite at this place is the Chicken Ramen... at the end of the meal, my bowl will be bone dry!
P.S. The place is small and very crowded most evenings, so make sure you book it on Feastfox before you arrive.

Visited on a busy night however from the reviews it seems it is always busy. Appreciated being fitted in after a short wait (we were happy to wait for a table).
Ordered quickly but did not receive sashimi for at least 45 minutes and then after 1 hr ramen had still not arrived.
Found this very odd as in previous experience ramen has been a quick eats kind of thing.
Asked to pay for food and drinks we already had and then left.
Would have given a one star review but the wait staff were helpful and I am sure this was not their fault.

Hi Milzi,

Firstly thank you for your feedback as constructive criticism is always welcome as to better our customer experience. We do apologize for the experience you had with us as it’s far from the norm. The evening you came we had issues with the kitchen, between non functional printers and delayed orders coming through hence the back up and time delay. Every now and then gremlins out of our control enter the system, but we have rectified these issues as best we can and hope your next experience with us will more then make up for your last one. Apologies again. TWM

Love the poke bowl they serve here. Nice to sit at the window table watching the street life in busy Sea Point. Friendly and personal staff.

Busy spot in Sea Point, excellent ramen and sushi - service on slow side. Will be back to try more. No liquor licence.

Popped in with a friend because we fancied something a bit different. This restaurant doesn’t take bookings so it’s pot luck if there’s a table. We sat down facing the concrete wall below the chefs and browsed the menu. We aren’t familiar with sushi so it was all a foreign language to us. I guess it’s fine if you know your nigiri from your california but we didn’t and I think there should be some supporting pictures on the menu or at least descriptions to help you choose. In the end we went for a chicken ramen bowl (as we knew what this was) and a random selection of sushi.
The food was delicious and the sushi so fresh. The ramen bowl was massive and really good value.
They also didn’t serve decaf coffee which I think is a bit poor as they still served proper coffee.
It is worth noting this restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol.

Thank Hannah S
