“A perfect relaxing stay”
Reviewed 20 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

We had a really lovely time here. The studio was really clean and cosy. There was a great view from the kitchen window, the kitchen was full of everything we needed. We loved using the wood burning stove on an evening and the owners made sure we had enough wood to use. The location was a great base for visiting different spots in the area and the village had a good shop and pub. I would definitely recommend this as a relaxing break away.

“Stunning views!”

A charming studio apartment with all modern facilities but which retains its' original character. Conveniently situated for local walks as well as visits to places of interest within the National Park. The property is situated just outside the village of Longframlington which contains a well stocked shop, and dining facilities. Also conveniently close to Alnwick, a lovely market town packed with larger shops and restaurants.
The property owners, Chris and Sue, are most welcoming and do everything to ensure that your stay is pleasant and relaxing. And the views from the kitchen window are stunning!

We have visited this beautiful place a few times over the last few years. We can't keep away.
It is one of the loveliest places we have stayed in. Very comfortable, clean and cosy.
Sue and Chris are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. So helpful with information on the places to visit and anything else you may need.
This is also a very central location to visit the shopping centres and large cities like Durham, Newcastle and Gateshead, or if you head into the other direction you will be out in the beautiful Northumberland countryside with all the places of interest like Holy Island, Alnwick and Craister to name a few. And of course, some of the seaside resorts are very close by.
We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.
Thank you both!
Sharon and Pete xxx

This place is great, we visit at least once a year. Snug & cosy with all facilities needed for a well earned break, great little wood burner with as many logs as you need. Central location for coast, hill walking, National trust gardens, Alnwick Castle or many other activities. Great places to eat locally and one of the best village shops you will ever visit, everything you need and if there is something you run out of the owners are only too happy to help if they can.
