It was Cold and windy when we went but absolutely breathtaking a lovely walk.It was a pity the little cafe was closed.A beautiful part of the country we will be back.
Beautiful sandy beach which goes on for miles. Great for walking in either direction, to Hunstanton or to Ticewell.
When we were there it was really quiet and only a few people but that was Mid March and not holiday season, would imagine it’s incredibly busy in the holidays.
Dog friendly beach x loved it x you can walk for miles x we found it very quiet this time of year x boathouse cafe hides in the dunes at the back
Myself and my lovely dog Minnie arrived on Old Hunstanton beach on a cold Spring morning - this was at the end of the 'Beast from the East' and the beach dunes and beach huts were still covered in snow. It is a vast sandy beach.
There is a cute little lighthouse just at the entrance to the carpark.
Quite a picturesque area.
Unfortunately there was a lot of dead star fish, crabs and razor clams due to the cold temperatures but I believe this is very unusual.
This beach also has some pretty cliffs to the left as you approach the beach.
Really enjoyed it, dog friendly.
