This is wonderful accommodation set in a beautifully maintained, walled garden which sits in the grounds of an old vicarage. The spec is high with all the equipment you could possibly need. The seats are comfy and you can't help but feel cosy and at home immediately. All the fittings are good quality with an excellent shower in the main bedroom. We didn't use the other bedroom, so can't comment on the main bathroom. The location was lovely. As well as the walled garden already mentioned, at the rear there's a private garden looking out across the fields to the woods. In the evening you can watch the bats as they set off, and listen to the owls. Sadly, didn't get to see one, but they were certainly there. It's a short walk to the village centre where there are two excellent pubs. The farms shop is perfect for that something special. Plenty of places to pick up any religious artefacts, should you need a Madonna or a new surplice! This is because Walsingham is the destination of a pilgrimage and it's very popular in the summer. Walsingham is perfectly situated to travel out to all the wonderful sites and activities Norfolk has to offer. This is the second year we've been to the area and we found lots to do. The little train to Wells is great fun. Overall, we couldn't have been in a better place and I would recommend it highly.
